On September 12, the Redmond Historical Society kicks off its 2026 Fall Saturday Speaker Series with Humanities Washington speaker Teresa André, professor, historian, and storyteller.
Travel 1920s Washington along the Yellowstone Trail, one of the nation’s first modern highways, which stretched from Washington to Massachusetts—and included Redmond’s “Red Brick Road”!
Meet the bootleggers, bachelors, flappers, and young people who embraced the freedom and upheaval brought by the automobile, including women who stunned Pullman by driving without a male escort.
